What cookies are.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website you visit. Similar technologies — web beacons, pixel tags, and local storage — work in comparable ways. Together they let a site remember you between visits, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used.
This page uses "cookies" as shorthand for all of these technologies.
What we use, and why.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function — authentication, session security, fraud prevention, load balancing, and remembering basic preferences during a single visit. Without these, parts of the platform will not work.
Opt out? No. These are required to deliver the service.
Analytics
EstateForge uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-preserving analytics service that operates without cookies. Plausible does not store any personal data, does not track you across websites, and complies with PDPL and GDPR without requiring cookie consent.
Because Plausible is cookieless, there are no analytics cookies to opt out of. We receive aggregate, anonymous data about page visits and user interactions — no personally identifiable information.
Opt out? If you wish to block Plausible analytics, you can set your browser to refuse scripts from plausible.io, though this may affect site functionality.
Functional
Remember preferences across visits — for example, your selected language, the units you’ve saved, and your last-used filters. These make the site more convenient but the platform works without them.
Opt out? Yes — via your browser settings.
Marketing
We do not currently use marketing cookies or third-party advertising networks to retarget users with ads on other websites. If this changes, we will update this page and re-prompt for consent.
Opt out? Not applicable for v1. No marketing cookies are set.
Manage your preferences.
Since EstateForge uses cookieless analytics (Plausible) and strictly necessary cookies, there are no non-essential tracking cookies to opt out of. All modern browsers let you manage cookies at the browser level:

Important: Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the platform that depend on them — most importantly, signed-in sessions.
Third parties we work with.
Some of our operations involve third-party services. At a high level:
- Hosting and content delivery: Vercel and Amazon Web Services. Both may set strictly necessary cookies for routing, security, and performance.
- Analytics: Plausible Analytics (cookieless, privacy-preserving). Plausible operates under contractual commitments consistent with PDPL and GDPR.
- Payments: our PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor sets strictly necessary cookies in the checkout flow.
- Email: transactional email is sent through a third-party provider. Email tracking pixels are used minimally for delivery diagnostics; marketing-email tracking is disclosed in the marketing email itself.

When we materially change what we use, we update this page and the date at the top, and (where required) re-prompt for consent. The current version is timestamped at the top of the page.
